Who We Are:
The Directors of the company are Kobus Bantjes and Frans Jooste.
Kobus Bantjes:
Kobus Bantjes was the regional sales manager of Carrier South Africa’s Cape Town office until October 2003. In this position, he had the opportunity to build some solid relationships with specifiers, contractors and end users of HVAC equipment in the region. This was greatly enhanced by his strong technical knowledge and experienced gained through 24 years in the industry. A large portion of this time was spent servicing and maintaining large central plants, as employee of Airco Engineering (Carrier agent till 1986), co-owner of March Engineering and Air Conditioning (Central plant maintenance, Centrifugal chiller specialists and compressor remanufacturing) and as Service Manager of Carrier’s office in Cape Town, prior to his appointment as Regional Sales Manager. Kobus has done a considerable amount of work in the oil industry in neighbouring countries, such as Angola.
Frans Jooste:
Frans Jooste was General Manager of Luwa India Pvt Ltd, based in Bangalore, till December 2003. The main brief of this assignment was to turn Luwa India from virtually a selling and execution center for Luwa Switzerland, into an independent company in the Luwa group, complete with manufacturing capabilities. This was done so successfully that Luwa India exported locally manufactured components to Switzerland, for re-export to the other group companies. Prior to this he was Regional Sales Manager of Carrier South Africa’s Cape Town branch, having started the said branch on Carrier’s re-entry into South Africa. He has strong sales experience, gained at Carrier and Trane, and design and project management experience from working at Luwa, first in South Africa as project engineer, and in India, as GM. Frans has earned a MBA from the Graduate School of Business of the University of Cape Town, and has sound financial and management experience.
